Surrealism is an art movement in early 20th-century movement which symbolizes the subconscious mind by producing metaphors and ideas side by side and gives a contradictory painting. Pollock Jackson, an American Painter who followed certain aspects of the above movement was painting in theoretical and conceptual way. He used drip and Splash style in his painting. He fixed the canvas on the floor or wall, poured paint from the can and worked his painting with sticks, trowels and knives. Sometimes he also used mixture of sand, glass pieces and foreign matter. This type of painting showed and revealed the mood of the artist.
